Guelfwerks
	When my niece was very small, I'd draw elves for her. As she got older, I'd start giving her elf drawings for Christmas and birthdays. I then started doing them for her on mugs, plates, etc and even did a sculpture. She is 27 now and was recently married. As a wedding gift I made her an elf clock, with a pedulum, on a piece of pine. One thing led to another and now I get all kinds of requests for cards, clocks and even an elf tie. Since I live in Guelph, what better name than Guelfs...or Guelves. The clocks are made by cutting out a print of one of my originals and using decoupage, applying it to a hand cut and sanded piece of pine. Many coats of lacquer are then applied. Then the clock works are added. Original watercolours, prints and clocks are available in limited supply.
